First Advent Service

The First Advent Service will be conducted at 11.00 am, Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) on Sunday, 1st December 2024, by Dorte Moltsen.
You are most welcome to join in with this service and follow the format below in your rhythm or another format of your choice. This service uses elements from the Holy Mother Service. You might like to light a candle. The First Advent candle represents hope - a light shining in the dark - the expectation felt in anticipation of the coming one. Pre-service mantra: Please feel free to listen to some meditative music to prepare for the service, and if you wish to use the pre-service mantra, it is: I merge my Heart with the Heart of Mother Christ and the Prince of Peace. 1. Welcome and Introduction A hearty welcome to this Holy Mother Service, where we celebrate the First Advent. This period before Christmas is a time of purification, renewed dedication and preparation for things to come. It is when the radiance of Christ permeates the Earth. The right preparation is of great importance in these coming years, as the heart of the world and the heart and mind of humanity are individually and collectively going through a tremendous crisis. And crisis, we know, is also a door to greater opportunity for growth. It is a sacred time for humanity's evolution because the most important centre at this stage is the heart. After all, we are entering the Age of Maitreya, and Maitreya, the Lord of Love, is the Avatar of the Heart. So, the Advent we celebrate is but an annual reminder of the importance of right preparation for future events. As we now enter the first portal towards the Christmas mysteries, we open ourselves to the great pure cosmic Mother Light. She is the gateway, the Mother Ocean, representing the cosmic womb, and the Heart from which Maitreya the Christ will emerge. And as Ananda* explains: 'It is Maitreya who, through His merging and cooperation with the Mother, will make humanity again understand and value the female aspect and principle and, because of this understanding and appreciation, will raise the female nature to its rightful place in the minds and actions of humanity. Reverence towards the Mother will then free humanity from the evil principle, and the sanctification of the daughter of the Mother, the women of the Earth, will make holy the Earth, which then will become a sacred planet.' So, as we enter the Advent season, let us remember Lady Mary and everything that she stands for. Let us allow her, the White Tara and all the Divine Mothers to permeate us with a greater understanding of the female principle. Let us allow those divine beings to turn us, to the best of our capabilities, into mother oceans and wombs that give birth to pure and noble thoughts and feelings. Let us allow the use of our hearts as channels for Christ's Light to enrich the Earth and all living beings. Let us acknowledge and utilise our female principle not only to purify and prepare ourselves for this Christmas as a celebration of what occurred 2000 years ago but also to prepare ourselves for all future births of Christ within our own hearts and within the heart of the Earth, the Solar System, and the Universe. Invocation to the Mother Everyone: Holy Mother Mother of Love, Mother of Light, Mother of Compassion We, Your children, invoke Your blessing. May Your Love fill our hearts. May Your Light enlighten us, and may Your compassion stream through us to all living creatures. Holy Mother Crowned with the stars of Heaven the moon at Your feet glory all around You. We, Your children, invoke Your blessing. May Your Love open our hearts May Your Light make us see true, and may Your compassion fill us to overflowing. Holy Mother Mother of Love, Mother of Light, Mother of Compassion We, Your children, invoke Your blessing. May Your Love fill our hearts. May Your Light enlighten us, and may Your compassion stream through us to all living creatures. 6. Cleansing Meditation Extracts from a meditation that Ananda guided during a Resurrected Life Service, 31/5/1992, will be used in this cleansing meditation. World Mother Prayer II Everyone: White Tara, Thou Rose of Mercy living in the base of man spreading light through the cells of man. Rose of compassion, Thou Mother of Light loving all with Thy indwelling Presence seeking to comfort as well as to warn of dangerous times falling upon the Earth affecting all who live there. Tara the White, Thou Rose of Mercy indwelling Light, protecting Thy children with Thy all encompassing embrace. Thousands of arms holding Earth in a loving embrace lifting Earth towards a godly union burning Earth in Holy Fire. Mother of Earth Thou all knowing, all wise Who through eyes of fire beholds the wonders of nature in its unfolding; glancing through heavy eyelids into a world of strife praying for endless peace. 8. Healing Meditation We are continuing from the Cleansing Meditation to go deeper into the Grace, Light and Peace of God, the Heart of the Mother and the Prince of Peace. The Earth is healed. Gratitude Everyone: Thank You, Holy Mother, whose appearances are many, and the Angelic Host, whose obedience to God is total, that we together have united to preserve the Earth and those of humanity, who wish to continue life on this beautiful planet. The light has, as usual, been pouring down upon us from Your hearts and we have gained humaneness and understanding from working with You. May we leave this service with more clarity and commitment to serve You better. 10. The Great Invocation** Everyone: From the point of Light within the Mind of God, There appears Maitreya as the Son of the Sun. Let His Light stream forth into the minds of men, Let His Light stream forth on Earth. Redeemer, Thou hast come. From the point of Love within the Heart of God, There comes Maitreya, the Lord of Love. Let His Love stream forth into the hearts of men, Christ the Risen One is here on Earth. From the Centre where the Will of God is known, Let the Avatar of Synthesis guide the wills of men. Maitreya, Your Purpose is clear. Avatar of Synthesis, make Yourself known. We serve You, Masters of the Light. From the Centre which we call the race of men, Let the Plan of Love and Light work out, And may it seal the door where evil dwells. Let Maitreya restore the Plan on Earth. Let His Light, Love, and Power be with you. **The Great Invocation as given by the Christ to the Lord D.K. has been rewritten by the Christ through Ananda Tara Shan, making it more in keeping with the times. 11. Closing Thank you all for your participation. We complete the service with a beautiful reminder from Ananda: ‘To achieve balance on Earth and harmony and peace in the human heart, walk through the Mother into the Heart of the Sun where the Risen One awaits you.
