New Moon Meditation 

A New Moon Meditation will be conducted by Dorte Moltsen at 7:45 pm, Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST), Tuesday 28 June 2022. The new moon time is 12:52 pm (AEST), Wednesday, 29 June 2022.

Although there will not be any participants in physical attendance, you are most welcome to join in with this meditation and follow the format below in your rhythm, or you may choose another format.

The meditation below will be from the revised edition of The 17 Steps to Perfection, by Ananda Tara Shan* (Rev. Jeanne Dara De Murashkin) & Victoria (Annie Hasling).

The 17 Steps to Perfection is a meditation process that draws upon the qualities and energies of planets and the universe to help us connect with our soul, cleanse ourselves, become peaceful and harmonious, and, eventually, attain perfection.

Although the revised edition is not yet published, the first edition is still available and has all the pre-revised versions of the meditations, which you are encouraged to use until the revised edition becomes available.

Welcome and Introduction
Welcome to this new moon meditation in which we connect with and celebrate the Mother aspect of Divinity.

We will meditate on Ceres, who is known as the Mother of agriculture. Ceres is the Roman name for the Greek goddess, Demeter.

Ceres is also known esoterically as the Goddess of the Mysteries. She established the ancient Eleusinian Rites, an initiatory system about resurrection and renewal. It is about the birth and expansion of soul consciousness as beautifully explained in Alice Bailey’s Esoteric Astrology:

'Into the cave of Initiation, the light of resurrection streams when the stone at the entrance is rolled away. From life in the form to the death of the form—deep in the rocky place, down in the crypts of the Temple—the human being goes. But into that same place, the new life streams, bringing fresh life and liberation; old things pass away and the darkness becomes light.'1

Let us now prepare to meet the Mother of the Mysteries, this greatness of true humility, resurrection, and renewal.

​Meditation
​We will now meditate on the energy of Ceres. The meditation is the Ceres basic technique from The 17 Steps to Perfection, revised edition. 2

Symbol & Qualities of Ceres :

• Right Humility
• Inner Emotional Peace
• Modesty

To help us enter into the meditation, please reflect on the following words:​​
​

'Look towards the Infinite One as a limitless Being that has no beginning or end,
that is Power, Love and Active Intelligence.
That Power, that Love, that Active Intelligence, works in you and through you.
You have no beginning or end – a part of you has always been
and shall always be.
That is the Divinity within you.
That part can never die, but lives forever in the Rhythm of the Infinite One.
You must call that part of you into action.
Then one day that part, which started as an atom within you,
becomes a major part of you.
You then become transfigured and Immortal.
A small Infinite One in your own right.
An adept of considerable Light and Wisdom.

Everyone:
​From the point of Light within the Mind of God,
There appears Maitreya as the Son of the Sun.
Let His Light stream forth into the minds of men,
Let His Light stream forth on Earth.
Redeemer, Thou hast come.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God,
There comes Maitreya, the Lord of Love.
Let His Love stream forth into the hearts of men,
Christ the Risen One is here on Earth.

From the Centre where the Will of God is known,
Let the Avatar of Synthesis guide the wills of men.

Maitreya, Your Purpose is clear.
Avatar of Synthesis, make Yourself known.

We serve You, Masters of the Light.

From the Centre which we call the race of men,
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out,
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Maitreya restore the Plan on Earth.

Let His Light, Love, and Power be with you.


**The Great Invocation as given by the Christ to the Lord D.K. has been rewritten
by the Christ through Ananda Tara Shan, making it more in keeping with the times.
